Bills Passed by the House and Senate, 2012

In 2012, the Senate passed 318 bills totalling 7,103 pages, and the House passed 381 bills comming to 7,889 pages.

Note: as the discrepancy suggests, not all of these bills passed both chambers and became law. It is, rather, a record of what each chamber's legislative "accomplishments." You can see every bill, including summaries and number of pages, that each chamber passed through the following monthly rundowns.  

January: SENATE: 6 bills, 30 pages HOUSE: 7 bills, 44 pages

February: SENATE 7 bills, 253 pages HOUSE: 23 bills, 686 pages

March: SENATE: 6 bills, 92 pages HOUSE 22 bills, 343 pages

October: NO BILLS PASSED (Members went home to campaign for re-election.)

November: SENATE 10 bills, 62 pages HOUSE 23 bills, 182 pages

December: SENATE 84 bills, 3,506 pages HOUSE 75 bills, 759 pages
