What So Special About Downsize DC?
By Jim Babka
Only three Sundays of live broadcasts to go and my two-hour radio show (yes, ONLY the radio show), "The Downsize DC Conference Call," will come to an end.

Next weekend, I've got guests. So I want to take one last opportunity to explain, in detail, why we do what we do at Downsize DC. And that will be the focus of this week's show -- "What's So Special About Downsize DC?"

Which brings me to my question for the week: What is your most important or favorite thing about Downsize DC? Maybe it's one of the campaigns. If so, which one? Maybe it's something else.

Whatever it is, the best, MOST QUOTABLE ANSWER will receive a special prize (probably a book) from our friends at William J. Olson, PC law firm, of McLean, VA.

You can give me that answer at 1-800-259-9231.
If you're shy, then email me instead. Type this out like it sounds: CALL at DOWNSIZEDC dot ORG

Give me such a great quote we can't help but choose you as the winner.

Last week, someone wrote me a nasty message saying that my show shouldn't associate with lawyers. Well, they haven't met the gang at William J. Olson, PC, who helped write the Read the Bills Act, One Subject at a Time Act, and the Write the Laws Act.

And the Olson firm is also are working to defend David Olofson on appeal -- the man wrongly convicted at the hands of a crooked Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE) for a misfiring gun. To the BATFE, a misfiring gun means a machine gun, and those are (unconstitutionally) illegal. My other show sponsor, Gun Owners of America, retained the Olson firm. I say they have good taste. And of course, during today's show, we'll have a Gun Owners of American update too.

The two-hour show starts at 3:06 PM Eastern (2:06 PM Central, 1:06 Mountain, and 12:06 PM Pacific), and maybe you just have questions about Downsize DC. If so, I'd also love to hear from you at 1-800-259-9231.

You can hear the show online at gcnlive.com/Listen_Live.html

In fact, Genesis Communications now has streaming options through cell phones!

Or you can tune in to one of these stations . . .

* WCER 900-AM Canton, Ohio
* WBCR 1470-AM Maryville/Alcoa, Tennessee
* KLID 1340-AM, Poplar Bluff, Missouri
* KGEZ 600-AM, Kalispell, Montana

And if for some reason you can't catch the live show, my network, Genesis Communications provides a podcast of the show, available a couple of hours after it goes off air, up through the next broadcast.

In fact, if you want to listen to last weeks show, it's still up there -- at least until I go live with today's show.

Happy Listening,

Jim Babka
