An inside, made-member of the Washington establishment, sharing the stage with a former Hillary Clinton aide, suggested “crisis initiation” was the traditional way America has gone to war.
A manufactured provocation, perhaps even a false flag event, might be needed to obtain your support for war with Iran.
Is this what you want?
Do you want your so-called government to manufacture an incident with Iran? If not, please tell Congress that you deny your consent to such criminality.
You can borrow from or copy this letter to Congress...
Watch this clip of former Clinton aid Patrick Clawson calling for the creation of a pretext for war with Iran: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfoaLbbAix0
Clawson wants to manufacture an incident to trick Americans into wanting war. He gives examples, all of which were examples of “crisis initiation.”
* McKinley and the Maine.
* Wilson and the Lusitania.
* FDR and Pearl Harbor.
* LBJ and the Gulf of Tonkin incident.
Clawson suggested this is “the traditional way America goes to war.” It appears he’s right. George W. Bush did it with the non-existent weapons of mass destruction.
Please be clear about this. Clawson is proposing a crime.
Meanwhile, the intelligence community is claiming that Iran has no nukes and that Iran lacks the capacity to build them. Despite having any contrary evidence, Clawson and his colleagues were clear in their presentations: They don’t trust the U.S. intelligence community.
You could justly categorize their views as, “War, by whatever means necessary.” If you don’t believe me, watch the entire 87 minute event for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsvDWZTVP3E
Let me be clear: You do NOT have my consent for any actions designed to trick the American people into wanting war.
I do not consent to war with Iran, or to criminal schemes designed to start such a war.
